Job Description

Oando Nigeria is recruiting for the role of Senior Operations Analyst to support its Technology & Innovation division. The successful candidate will be responsible for evaluating operational workflows, driving process improvements, enhancing efficiency, and ensuring alignment with the company’s strategic goals. This role involves extensive use of data analytics to support decision-making, optimize costs, and improve productivity across business functions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Analyze and optimize current operational workflows to identify bottlenecks and inefficiencies.
  • Collect, interpret, and report operational data to support decision-making.
  • Drive process improvement strategies for cost savings and productivity.
  • Support compliance reporting, budgeting, forecasting, and expenditure monitoring.
  • Collaborate with finance, technical, and operations teams to enhance service delivery.
  • Prepare comprehensive documentation of operational processes.
  • Identify risks and propose mitigation strategies.
  • Provide training and mentorship to staff on tools, processes, and best practices.
  • Serve as liaison between departments and external partners for seamless communication.
  • Support special projects, ad hoc analysis, and cross-functional initiatives.

Qualifications & Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Operations Management, Industrial Engineering, or a related field.
  • MBA or advanced qualifications in Finance, Management Science, Operations Research, or M&A is an advantage.
  • 8–10 years post-NYSC relevant experience in operations, business analysis, or similar roles.
  • Strong understanding of renewable economics, Nigerian fiscal systems, risk management, and decision science.
  • Advanced proficiency in data analytics tools and Microsoft Office applications.
  • Proven ability to translate data insights into actionable business recommendations.
  • Strong leadership, coaching, and team management skills.
  • Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and presentation skills.
  • Strategic thinker with problem-solving, creativity, and innovation abilities.
