We are seeking a field-smart Procurement Officer to support our farmer-facing procurement operations. The ideal candidate will collaborate with suppliers, buying agents, and farmers to secure commodities and deliver timely market intelligence.Key Responsibilities
- Achieve daily, weekly, and monthly procurement targets.
- Build and maintain strong supplier and buying agent relationships.
- Track market trends, crop flow, and competitor activities.
- Support outgrower program activities.
- Ensure accurate and timely reporting.
Qualifications & Requirements
- Degree in Agriculture, Agribusiness, Supply Chain, or related field.
- 2–5 years of experience in commodity procurement or field operations.
- Knowledge of rice, soybean, maize, and sesame value chains.
- Strong negotiation and relationship-building skills.
