Job Description

The U.S. Embassy is inviting applications from qualified candidates for six graduate-level positions across Lagos and Abuja. These roles span administrative, consular, human resources, and community liaison responsibilities.

Available Positions
  1. Administrative Assistant – Lagos
  2. Consular Associate (2 positions) – Abuja
  3. Human Resources Assistant – Abuja
  4. Office Management Assistant (USEFMs only) – Lagos
  5. Community Liaison Coordinator – Lagos
General Responsibilities
  • Provide administrative and clerical support to designated departments.
  • Assist with consular services, visa processing, and U.S. citizen support.
  • Manage HR-related functions including staff services and training.
  • Coordinate communication, events, and community support initiatives.
  • Handle documentation, record keeping, and correspondence.

Qualifications & Requirements

  • Minimum of OND/High School Certificate depending on position.
  • Bachelor’s degree (HND/BSc) preferred for administrative and HR roles.
  • Relevant years of experience in administration, HR, office management, customer service, or consular services.
  • Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).
  • Excellent interpersonal, organizational, and communication skills.
  • Ability to obtain and maintain the required security clearance (ranging from Non-Sensitive to Top Secret).
  • Medical and background checks are mandatory.
