Job Description

This strategic role supports Airtel’s financial decision-making by evaluating product profitability, pricing, and capital efficiency. The successful candidate will act as a finance business partner to cross-functional teams, offering data-backed insights and guidance.

Key Responsibilities

Finance Business Partnering

  • Collaborate with departments to analyze commercial interventions and strategic initiatives
  • Support business cases on rate plans, equipment pricing, and customer incentives
  • Evaluate and report product/project profitability for management decision-making

Revenue & Data Analysis

  • Conduct weekly budget-gap and revenue trend analysis
  • Deliver pre/post-promo analysis for marketing initiatives
  • Develop and manage advanced financial models to support executive decisions

CAPEX/OPEX Management

  • Ensure timely processing of OPEX and CAPEX within internal SLA
  • Drive CAPEX productivity and ensure compliance with Finance Delegation of Authority
  • Support capital planning efforts and review financial implications of contracts

Innovation & Reporting

  • Propose at least one value-adding innovation per quarter
  • Deliver all BPA (Business Performance Analysis) reports as per calendar and quality standards

Qualifications & Requirements

Educational Background

  • A graduate degree (HND/BSc)
  • Professional certification: ACA, ACCA, CIMA, or CFA (Compulsory)
  • MBA/MSc is an added advantage

Technical & Functional Skills

  • Strong command of SQL and data mining techniques
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint

Expertise in:

  • Financial modelling
  • IFRS compliance
  • Pricing strategy
  • Data analysis and reporting
 Experience

Minimum of 15 years in Financial Planning & Analysis, Business Partnering, or Performance Management, preferably in Telecoms or FMCG sectors
