Job Description
7up Bottling Company is seeking a Financial Planning and Analysis (FP&A) Analyst to support its finance team in driving data-informed decisions and enhancing business performance. The successful candidate will be responsible for preparing financial reports, conducting variance analyses, evaluating business initiatives, and partnering with other departments to ensure sustainable financial growth.
Key Responsibilities:
- Build financial reports to communicate performance across regions and business units.
- Prepare presentations for board, shareholder, and leadership meetings.
- Conduct variance analysis comparing forecasts, budgets, and actual results.
- Collaborate with the accounting team during month-end close to ensure accurate reporting.
- Work with the Business Intelligence team to develop dashboards and automate manual processes.
- Evaluate the financial viability of new projects and expansion opportunities.
- Partner with IT and commercial teams to enhance reporting systems and improve forecasting accuracy.
- Support commercial initiatives, pricing strategies, and product profitability analysis.
- Analyze trade discounts, incentives, and promotions to ensure profitability and effectiveness.
- Provide insightful financial analysis and recommendations to drive business performance.
Qualifications & Requirements
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in financial planning and analysis.
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field.
- Professional certification (ICAN or equivalent) is an added advantage.
- Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial modeling.
- Excellent Excel skills, including formulas, pivot tables, and data visualization.
- Experience working with ERP systems such as Dynamics NAV or SAP.
- Excellent analytical, communication, and presentation skills.
