Aldelano Organic Foods Limited is seeking an experienced Farm Manager to oversee the production and operations of both open-field and greenhouse crops. The ideal candidate will manage day-to-day farm activities, ensure optimal crop yields, and maintain efficient and sustainable farming practices.Key Responsibilities:
- Manage commercial production of open-field habanero and greenhouse bell peppers.
- Oversee crop nutrition, irrigation schedules, pest and disease management, and greenhouse operations.
- Implement modern farm management tools and data-driven decision-making processes.
- Lead and supervise farm workers, ensuring high productivity and compliance with safety standards.
- Monitor and maintain farm equipment and infrastructure.
- Develop and execute farm work plans to meet production targets.
Qualifications & Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in Agriculture, Agronomy, Horticulture, or related field.
- Minimum of 5 years’ experience managing commercial production of open-field habanero and greenhouse bell peppers.
- Strong technical knowledge in crop nutrition, irrigation, pest/disease management, and greenhouse operations.
- Proficiency with modern farm management tools and technologies.
- Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
- Ability to work long hours, including weekends, during peak seasons.
