Job Description
Kuda is seeking a DevOps Engineer to join its hybrid team in Lagos. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in automation, cloud infrastructure, and continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD) processes. This role is perfect for someone passionate about building scalable systems, ensuring reliability, and improving deployment efficiency in a fast-paced fintech environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage and optimize CI/CD platforms (preferably Azure DevOps).
- Deploy, monitor, and maintain cloud infrastructure across AWS, GCP, and Azure.
- Implement and manage automation tools such as Ansible and Terraform.
- Handle container orchestration and management using Kubernetes.
- Maintain and support monitoring and alerting systems using tools like ElasticSearch, Datadog, and Sentry.
- Troubleshoot and support relational databases and distributed platforms.
- Perform basic Linux system administration tasks.
- Support the implementation of event management and monitoring tools.
Qualifications & Requirements
- Minimum of 3 years of industry experience in a DevOps or similar role.
- Bachelor’s degree or higher in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience).
- Proven experience with CI/CD platforms — Azure DevOps preferred.
- Hands-on exposure to AWS, Azure, and/or GCP cloud platforms.
- Strong knowledge of ElasticSearch, Datadog, and Sentry.
- Proficiency in Terraform, Ansible, and other automation tools.
- Familiarity with Kubernetes orchestration and management.
- Excellent troubleshooting, problem-solving, and collaboration skills.
