Job Description
African Foundries Limited is seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Admin Officer to provide administrative support and ensure smooth day-to-day office operations. The successful candidate will manage documentation, scheduling, office supplies, and communication channels while supporting colleagues across the organization.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide administrative support, including answering phone calls, responding to emails, and greeting visitors.
- Manage and maintain accurate records, files, and documents.
- Coordinate meetings, appointments, and travel arrangements.
- Handle incoming and outgoing mail, emails, and faxes.
- Maintain office supplies, equipment, and facilities.
- Perform data entry tasks, including updating databases and spreadsheets (Microsoft Excel proficiency is mandatory).
- Prepare and distribute reports as required.
Qualifications & Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent required; a degree in Business Administration or a related field is preferred.
- Previous administrative experience in an office setting.
- Excellent communication, organizational, and time management skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Problem-solving and critical thinking abilities.
- Team player with strong interpersonal skills.
- Adaptability to changing priorities and deadlines.
