Job Description

NIBSS is inviting qualified professionals to apply for the following positions:

1. Technical Assistant, ED, Technology & Innovation

The Technical Assistant (TA) will provide strategic, analytical, and operational support to the Executive Director, Technology & Innovation, ensuring the smooth execution of innovative financial technology initiatives and the management of core payment infrastructures.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide insights on fintech trends, regulations, and industry innovations.
  • Prepare executive presentations, strategy reports, and board documents.
  • Track and analyze progress of critical payment projects.
  • Build dashboards to monitor key operational metrics.
  • Manage stakeholder relationships with banks, fintechs, and regulators.
  • Support project coordination across internal departments.

Qualifications & Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Finance, Economics, or Computer Science (Master’s/MBA preferred).
  • 4–7 years of experience in consulting, financial services, or payments technology.
  • Strong analytical, communication, and presentation skills.
  • Experience supporting C-level executives is an advantage.

2. Senior Account Manager

The Senior Account Manager will oversee strategic client relationships across the AfrigoPay ecosystem, driving adoption, client satisfaction, and revenue growth.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead strategic account planning for high-value clients.
  • Conduct business reviews and develop client growth strategies.
  • Manage cross-functional collaboration to ensure excellent service delivery.
  • Identify upselling and cross-selling opportunities.
  • Mentor junior account managers and ensure client retention.

Qualifications & Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Finance, or Marketing.
  • Minimum of 7 years’ experience in account management or business development (preferably in fintech or financial services).
  • Relevant certifications (PMP, CIM, ICPSP) are an advantage.
  • Strong leadership, negotiation, and analytical skills.

3. Account Manager

The Account Manager will maintain and grow relationships with assigned financial institutions, ensuring optimal adoption of AfrigoPay products and services.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage client relationships and monitor key performance metrics.
  • Support onboarding, documentation, and compliance processes.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to resolve client issues.
  • Conduct performance reviews and recommend product improvements.
  • Track client satisfaction, retention, and usage trends.

Qualifications & Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business Administration, or Marketing.
  • 3–5 years of experience in account management or client services.
  • Strong understanding of card schemes and payment systems.
  • Excellent communication, analytical, and time management skills.
