Job Description

Nestlé is inviting applications for the International Auditor role in Lagos, Nigeria.   The Nestlé International Audit Program runs for approximately 4 years and provides a unique opportunity to gain exposure to multiple functions and businesses globally. Auditors travel internationally up to 70% of the year (8 months plus) according to a fixed calendar.   Using advanced methodologies, tools, and data analytics, auditors deliver risk assurance, performance improvement insights, and actionable recommendations to strengthen Nestlé’s operations worldwide.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct risk-based audits/reviews of business units, factories, head offices, and processes
  • Assess processes and controls for effectiveness and efficiency
  • Review compliance with laws, contracts, policies, and regulations
  • Ensure integrity, confidentiality, and reliability of information and reporting
  • Identify and recommend control enhancements and process improvements
  • Communicate findings and agree on corrective action timelines with stakeholders
  • Present audit results to leadership teams
  • Maintain and update audit programs, manuals, and tools

Qualifications & Requirements

  •  MBA or M.Sc. in Finance, Business Administration, Mathematics, Economics, Statistics, Supply Chain Management, Engineering, Food Science, or Environmental & Sustainability.
  • CPA, ACA, ACCA (Artificial Intelligence degree is an added advantage).
  • 2–4 years in an international accounting firm, FMCG corporation, or operational roles (Finance, Sales, Supply Chain, Marketing, or Industrial Performance).
  • International exposure is an added advantage.
  • Willingness to travel internationally up to 70% per year.
  • Strong business acumen, curiosity, and learning agility.
  • Excellent MS Excel and data analytics skills; SAP knowledge preferred.
  • Fluency in English and at least one additional language.
  • Flexible, collaborative team player with cultural openness and adaptability.
